How was the show and anything interesting in the way of games? If you exhibited, how was your experience?

Busy...

After our first ToyFair with a booth, my contribution to this discussion is simply that ToyFair was very busy.

My piece of advice to future attendees is to rent one of those fancy badge-scanner thingies. I'm in the process of going through a couple hundred business cards, and it would have been really nice to have all that data entry eliminated.

Speaking of which, did anyone rent one? Was it possible to make notes when scanning in a badge?

P.S. Oh yeah, and I must have told 40 different people to come to bgdf...

Had a great time at toy fair, got to meet two of our members, Chip and OrlandoPat. Thanks again to both of you for your info, and if I do try to put my own games out I hope I can have myself together as well as they do. I didn't get to come back a second day, thats the sad part, but the place was buzzing. Got to sit back and watch buyers check out my games and see if they smiled or not when getting a quick demo of the gameplay. The final print for my board game looks outstanding, the art team did a great job,(tell me what our members think, Go to Briarpatch.com and look up Robots! the game.) I wish I had the art skills. Hopefully I can get on the chat next week.

I wish the photo of Robots was larger and the description longer. Real hard to get any idea about it from what is on the web site. Is it a set collection game?

Based on what i could see in the picture, it looks great. On the one day you were there observing, did you get a good feeling on your game: lots of smiles and cheers etc? I just got my electronic prototype and am excited. It's hard to believe that I have a one of a kind product. My artwork is about to begin and the company I'm using is getting an illustrator that does work for the major game companies. I feel like showing everyone the prototype, but will keep everything secret until I have a game. I can't wait to announce the game here in the next few months. Stay tuned and good luck to all.

Early on it's looks like the Robots game is getting more attention than my scooby- doo card game. Won't know for sure until sometime in april. Sounds like things on going good for you HRPUFFENSTUF, getting close to a finished project seems like forever but it is so exciting. Hope it all turns out the way you want it. Hey Dralius, the robot game is 2 to 4 players, the robot factory door was left open and robot are running around with all the part and who ever catches and collects the most parts and builds robots wins. Lots of fun for all. Hey darkehorse I think you left a message for me I chicked it off to fast, if you did please send it one more time(hopfully it was about delete)
