Our company Y Games runs a small game publishing company (House of Dice). We currently produce a small range of dice games and game accessories and now we are looking to expand. We would like to invite submission of game designs/ideas for evaluation. Please note at this time we are looking for card & board games min 3 player. Ideas of interest will be asked for further information.

Please submit ideas to:
design@houseofdice.co.uk

If you have any questions please do contact us and we will endeavour to help

OHH this is great!

Do you have a website so we can read about your company and what it's all about? No offence, but I don't know anything about your company or its reputation, etc.

I'd like to hear more about it though! As I'm sure most people would. Who do you deal with? Major stores, little chains, independent retailers, etc. What is your gaming/business philosophy? Most game companies accept certain games with certain themes or catagories of games. Is your company into abstract games? strategy games? RPG's? etc...

I'd just like to hear more about you, if you wouldn't mind, before I submit.

Thanks,

Rob

I understand your concern.

We are a small family run company set up 3 years ago as a Specialist in vinatge board games and advises to several TV companys on vinatge games. we have moved on since then and now deal all in areas of board gameing.
House of dice was set up by us 14 months ago limiting our range to dice games. We are now looking to go further with the game manufacturing.

I hope this help with your concerns but please feel free to email me direct if you need other questions answered.

Sounds great!

I am new to the submission part, so in what format would the submission be in?, how should the submission be organized?, and what else would to need to be considered?

Peter,

I'm curious as to why you're placing that constraint on a minimum of three players. What led you to determining that as a useful restriction, rather than something like "Must support more than 2 players; may be playable as a two person game."

Just curious.

In answer to some of the question raised,

First at the moment we are only looking for ideas, not rule book or prototype.
types of game, Family, fun (both not adult or party), Strategy.
Games should 2+ player (our error saying min 3).
We will be looking at keeping production cost down so simple is good.

Please be aware this is just a first request for ideas we are not going to be talking about who owns what and how much will I get etc.. I large amount of email rec'd so far have been along these lines.

Many thanks
Peter
