I was wondering. Is there somewhere a list of all the games? Just the names, creator, Publisher etc. But then put in clasifications. Like war games, child games, race games etc.
I surfed boardgamegeeks, but there it only sends you to an overview to threads for these games.
I'd be interested in knowing this too.
I'd also like to find some good boardgame community sites besides bgg. Bgg is WAY too strict and gestapo like with their moderation there, if you say something contrary to what the majority believe, or if you criticize a game, or if you say something that isn't 100% "family friendly" they ban you super quick.
What do you want that BGGs board game database > categories > wargame list doesn't provide? It shows the name/publisher/year etc and then you click on the title for more info. You can even sort by rank instead of name.
Unfortunately, I can't imagine any other site out there with a better system.

It seems that I was lost on the main page. It does show the options that I was talking about. But then you get redirected to threads.
But this time I used the search option instead.
Now I got a list.
One that seems to be incomplete. For example, I still can't find Axis 'n Allies.
And there are books in the list.
So, whatever you suggest, it is not user friendly if some one like me can't find stuff.
