I can probably edit this post as I go to include new artwork as it evolves.. Maybe nobody here cares, but I always like getting artwork :)
My game's box will 4" x 6" (or just slightly larger, to accommodate an A6 rule book). That's not a lot of space!

I like seeing artwork ... Whatever you are willing to share!
The BEST way to SHARE artwork is to HOST the files somewhere "on-the-cloud" and LINK to them using < img > tags. This is the best because on BGDF you only have 10 Mbytes of space (Not very much).
Plus LINK-ing to files have the added bonus that you can update them by only uploading "to-the-cloud" and then the LINKS will refresh automatically (well technically you may need to do a hard reload for some cached images to be refreshed...) But you get the point.
Cheers... Can't wait to see some more ART!
Right now that one's being
Right now that one's being hosted on facebook :)
When I get off my butt I can update my website and host there..
I think you uploaded it to BGDF...
Sorry ... but it seems like that image may be HOSTED on "Facebook" but you UPLOADED a COPY to BGDF. Otherwise you would need to use "Markdown" and then use < img > tags to point to "Facebook"... Like I said, I rarely UPLOAD anything to BGDF (I used to before...) But when I realized that the hard limit is 10 MBytes ... I switched to LINKs/URLs because they don't use any storage on the forum.
Sure they use space "on-the-cloud" but I have an UNLIMITED SPACE account for my hosting website... So it's much easier to upload to my website and then LINK to the images that I want to share...
Sorry, I meant "the only
Sorry, I meant "the only other place that's being hosted is Facebook." I did upload it.
Well Facebook is not URL-friendly...
There is no way to SHARE just an IMAGE on Facebook... You really would be best to create a Folder under your Website and HOST the images from there!
I updated my website
I updated my website (http://www.heroesandtreasure.com) with a bunch of new stuff. Looks a lot better than it used to. Don't particularly need to post any of it here yet, but when I get my finished logo in, maybe :)
Triggered the new Kickstarter
Triggered the new Kickstarter signup feature. Not that I expect anyone here to necessarily follow my game right now, but you can see the finished logo :)

Hmm... Not sure about that!?
Shouldn't you send an e-mail to ALL your KS Backers ... Saying that a NEW and exciting game in the "Heroes & Treasure" Universe will "Launch SOON" and if they want to be notified when the launch will happen, they can Sign Up to be Notified if they want to...?!
This isn't a RANDOM feature about who finds your game. This is a tool to excite people to be notified and increase your first 48 hours of the crowdfunding to be successful.
Granted some people might use it to RANDOMLY see who lands and commits to be notified... But I think the better use is to BUILD A CROWD for those first 48 hours of your campaign... So you get a BOOM of Backers early when it is most important.
Don't waste this feature on random sign-ups. This feature is used to build and manage your KS crowd. At least that's the way I see it TBH.
Also ...
If there is a FEATURE to "Show or Hide" FOLLOWERS ... I would STRONGLY encourage you to SHOW FOLLOWERS. Nothing builds a better crowd than an already good bunch of people...
Think of this as if you get 20 people who sign up... That will turn into 50 and then 100 and then maybe 200, etc. It has a VIRAL psychological effect on anyone who visits the LINK or KS website to SEE your Notification page.
And you should have about 500 backers in queue by now. Which means that getting 100 or 200 is FEASIBLE. And like I said SHARE that link HERE, somewhere on BGG (if possible), etc.
I'm going to be REAL HONEST: I didn't sign-up because I could not see how many people are FOLLOWING this FUTURE campaign. I didn't want to be #1... So I held off. If there are more people like this... You might lose your audience or just people who want to give you a couple bucks towards your Funding Goal.
My guess is that you DISABLED the Follower Count ... And I think this is psychologically BAD! Again that's my opinion ... There's no reason to not show it... Like I said it's a VIRAL thing. The more you get, the more sign-up...
Cheers... Totally feels like you are using this feature the WRONG way. But again everyone is entitled to their opinion. Cheers!
I signed up and I hope I'm
I signed up and I hope I'm the first. :)

Lol of course I need to do that. I don't think anyone can find that page unless I link them to it.
As for show/hide, it looks like under 10 people, it doesn't show anything, and then after that it starts to show the number of followers. I currently have 2 :) (I haven't posted the link publicly yet)
Well since Tim was first ... I can follow!
I signed-up for notification. Just to help you get more people interested. Funny how it works. I saw the other guy's Preview Page and it had a bunch of "Followers"... I would imagine your should work the same way, no???
Or you believe that you need some kind of "minimum"??? It would be nice to see a 10 Following or 50 Following, etc. I don't know why they just don't SHOW how many "Followers" you get (even if it is 1 or 1,000)!?
Okay... We'll see if we can all see the number of people following the pre-launch. As long as I am not #1 ... I'm fine with being somewhere early ... but not #1. To make a long story short, I could have been a very early Facebook Member. When I first saw the page I was like: "Hmm... No way I'm signing-up for this..." It took maybe a good 5 years later that I finally took the plunge and joined "Facebook"!
I found the LINK/URL on KS...
Actually I did LOOK for H&TA and found it all the way on PAGE #8! Look for "Upcoming" and then select "TableTop Games" and then scroll down all the way to Page #8!
So YES it can be FOUND... But it's probably NOT very likely...
Huh, I had no idea it was
Huh, I had no idea it was even listed, but no, that's not something I was expecting, any more than I expect a large number of kickstarter-initiated pledges later.
As for the 10 minimum, yes, it says that explicitly when you activate that page. It keeps the number hidden until you have 10. I haven't posted the page publically yet (other than here).

(A very large image)
Wondering if I should move everything closer together to get more "stuff" on the screen, or if the empty space conveys simplicity...
Maybe from a HIGHER "Angle"???
It looks good, except it seems a bit "cut-off" at the top... Maybe if you could get HIGHER and take a picture of the "almost" entire table ... Things would appear "closer together" and you would have an accurate picture of the entire area of play...
Just a thought! Cheers (And for the most part it looks great... Just needs a minor alteration TBH)

Thanks, yeah, I started with a shallower angle and then did that. Even higher up would probably be better.
Fantastic news
As an owner of Heroes and Treasure (played with my four year old daughter), I'm rather excited for this.
4"x6" - jeepers that's tiny! Okay that explains the massive logo!
Can the game be played with more than 2 players? The artwork suggests that it CAN as there's a bunch of people at the table (view point is looking up from the table at the players right?). If it's only a two player game, then maybe only have 2 players in the game, or make it clear the others are spectators.
Is the viewpoint almost a 'glass table', with the view point looking up at the players, through the table? Does that make the Heroes & Treasure logo a 'card' laying facedown on the 'glass table' ?
I think it should have some thing 'card-y' about it, otherwise I would assume it was an expansion for the board game.
The viewpoint is from a
The viewpoint is from a player's seat. It's a one-on-one card game, which I should make clearer as well :)
I hate tiny games in large boxes. 4x6 fits this just fine, and lets me get 1000 units onto a single pallet.
We just played a game last weekend that was basically a trivia game with two 50-card decks. They added in a couple of fairly expensive-looking scoring trackers, two notepads, and two pencils. Probably because they didn't want to just put it in a tiny box. As a result, all that stuff, plus cardboard spacers, were in a huge box like 12" x 12" x 2" or something around that. Ridiculous.
