@Calvin: I'm in a similar situation. I'd like to bring "Crystal Heroes" (CH) to a Tuesday night gathering. The organizer of the group has told me - that he longs to design games... But just cannot find the time to do so (because he has a wife and family...)
However I first want to print out the NEW cards - with the revisions I have made to make the game "better". And then have some playtests to see if the cards are better.
I may reach out to him this weekend... And see if he will be attending the venue. If the playtests are conclusive enough to make for an interesting competitive game!
