Hi, and a question

Hi...! I signed up for this forum a couple weeks ago and forgot about it.
Anyway, I have a few questions:

Anyone know how effective using websites like rpgnow.com to sell games in PDF is?

Im only 15, is there any thing hindering me from getting copyrights, starting a buisness, etc?

At this point all my ideas are in infantile stages, so this is a long way off (although I may be able to make more progress now that Im going to be free of the prison that is school). I already have a group to playtest with and a logo, so I seem to be off to a good start.

Hi, and a question

There is really nothing stopping you, you may need your parents to cosign for you on things like business licenses and such.

Dont forget you could also buy isbn numbers and be able to sell .pdf's on amazon.com. You could create an ebay and paypal account and auction off pdf's there as well.

When the OGL and D20 license first hit years ago I made a few pdf's that sold ok, couldnt live off of it but it was a nice supplemental income. The more you do though the more streams of income will be coming in. That being said, if you are doing a role playing style game than I think the market has been saturated for awhile now, just about everything has been covered in some way or another.

If you decide to go this route...rules sell better than adventures. Dont skimp out on page layout, when I see a bad page layout most of the time I cant finish reading the text. Just because its not a book or magazine doesnt mean its not a legitamite publication.
