Greetings.
I am new to both the BGDF & the BGG; this is my attempt at an introduction.
I started pseudo-designing games in my youth (my favorite was a chess-like game played on a scrabble board with the pieces from both games). I guess it came about because my mother would buy old board games at garage sales (without instructions!); so I would have to devise my own rule systems. What fun!
I know that what makes a "great" game is a very subjective thing; but I look forward to gaining/sharing the secrets of the long lost art of analog gaming.
Fare thee well.

Brykovian,
Thank you. I have heard of you & your game designs (I think it was from a Tom Vassal review of Darebase). Interesting stuff; I look forward to further dialogue.
