Using UnrealEd as a CAD

Last time I sent a post indicating that I was looking for an easy to use CAD. I tried a lot of them and I have not found any, downloadable one, that is as easy to use as the Map editor for Unreal Tournament. here is an example of what I could do with the editor, it's the same ship with different lighting point and point of view :

UnrealED work with the concept of a 3D brush. You brush start as a 3D shape ( Cube, piramid, sphere, etc ) you move it around the map and then you add or substract the brush to the level to create the shape.

The ship has been made with 5 brushes if I exclude the brush to make the space where the ship lies. Each reactor is a brush, The central part is a brush, the cockpit another one and the area between the central part and the reactor is the last brush.

What is nice is the 2d Editor. In this editor, you start with a square and you can add vertex and change the shape. Then you perform an operation on the shape to create your 3D brush ( ex: extrude, extrude to a point, etc ).

The main part of the ship has been made with a flat hexagon that I have extruded. The cockpit is the same hexagon and I belved it. The reator is a shape that I had revolved around a point.

Now the problem with this editor is that I can't use it to make a picture for a commercial product. Of course, there is no way that they can know that for example a piramid has been made with their editor but they can know that I have used their textures. Which mean that I would have to supply my own textures.

The images appear to be broken.

I see them, and they look pretty neat. Nothing at all like an Unreal Tournament map.

Broken for me, too. Apparently a kind of png that Firefox doesn't like to render.

Works for me now, too. Had a bad connection, I think.
