Blank Magic sized cards that can be drawn on

I'm taking a break from making games at the moment and actually playing some.

I've found a great free game that you can play called 1000 Blank White Cards. Some of you may know it - I'm not sure.

Anyway, I'm trying to find somewhere I can get some blank cards, magic size would be great, that can be drawn on directly with a biro or pencil.

This would also help me with the CCG I'll carry on working with when I start creating again!

Business cards are a bit small, and eveything else is either card stock, which I can't be bothered to cut up, or cards designed for printing, so not really that good for writing on.

And the final part that makes it REALLY difficult? I live in the UK!

Any help is much appreciated...

Corn,

You may want to look into name badges.

Avery makes a name badge that is 2.25 X 3.5 inches (pardon my ignorance of the metric conversion) which is not quite the size of magic or poker cards (actually the size of bridge cards), but still better than business cards and of course they are designed to be written on.

Here is a link:

Good luck!

Hi,

I found this link to 'color cards', cards you can draw on. They're from Carta Mundi, which happens to be based in my home town.

Good luck,

yeeeeears ago a friend pointed out that you can "erase" normal playing cards with nail polish remover.

20 decks of cards+a bottle of nail polish remover+elbo grease=1000 blank cards.

Along these lines...

What is the cheapest solution for having cards printed out with your graphic images on them?

Like a service that prints your grahic art files onto playing cards.

I know it may be costly, but what are some places that are doing this?

On a small basis, you should be able to get any on-the-street printing shop like Kinkos (in the US) or similar office resource printing shop, though you might have to set it up in advance if they don't have the needed printer/cardstock in store.

Okay, but just to give more detail... I mean a print house or vendor that will actually send me back printed cut and ready to rock, industry standard, game quality playing cards.
