Darn the site with the original is down. Basically The square has to big enough to fit say a penny or some other pawn. Every vertex has a square, hexagon and 12 sided polygon on it.

What total size for the board/paper?
Regular 8 by 11 paper(I always forget where the half goes).
Here's a version of it, sized so that there are an even number of 12-sided figures on a page. Just let me know if you'd like it to be bigger or smaller or whatever (took 5 minutes to create). The squares are probably a little small.

Be sure to RIGHT-CLICK and Save Targe As... (or your browser's equivalent) since it looks like all of a sudden my web server isn't serving PDFs correctly.

Do you use ie? Because it opened up fine by clicking in mozilla.
This and a version thats about 1.5 times bigger would be good. The squares are a bit small but being able to make a mini board is nice.

Edited to fix the link
BTW, I use the upper-right version for a game involving fluctuating lines of power, and there's a fair bit of similarity between the two. Cool design!

Here you have another approach.
It's legal size paper, so it fits a tileable texture the size you want. You can print more than one and paste one besides the other to build bigger boards. The first page is in black, the seconf page is in gray. The squares are 20mm wide, and a penny is 19mm in diameter, so it fits just right.

I like the tileability, nicely done!
It's so very handy to be good with this software!

I used to work for a fabrics printer some 15 years ago, so whenever I see a repeating texture I automatically look for the tile pattern. ;-)
