Has Anyone Worked With These Printers?

Hello! I was just wondering if anyone has worked with Delano, Paragon Packaging, or Sierra Packaging? Either positive or negative, I just want to make sure we are going to be working with a great company. (we are looking to have our board, rules, cards, and box printed)

Does anyone have a particulary good experience with a custom dice company either?

We are trying to finalize or production plans for our board game and this is the last step...
Thanks!

Delano is very helpful and professional to work with. Quality is great. Price is a bit higher than other printers.

Paragon Packaging indicated they were not interested in my project. Not sure why.

Sierra Packaging never returned my emails.

Actually the latter two were the only manufacturers that did not provide me with a quote when requested.

I also tried MJS Creations, FRV Group, 444 Ltd, Colormagic, Yaquinto, Rehtmeyer, Grand Prix International and received quality quotes from all.

They all have their strengths and weaknesses in terms of how competitive their estimates were. Depending on your requirements and priorities, at least one should fit with your project needs.

Best advice is to have a very detailed and specific description of your project, by component (sizes, paper stocks, color needs, etc.) with graphics if possible. The better your request, the better the responses will be.

Ages to wait for reply

Yes but I emailed Grand Prix Int. for the second time asking for a quote and they seem to take a very long time to reply for just a quote.

I think I waited 2 weeks first time and then had to email again before reply.
Nearly a week now.
If it wasnt for the special plastic parts I need I would probably et an artist then just go to a printer.

I know they have to research prices but big companies should be a bit quicker.

Shame because Grand Prix look as if they have all the machines and professional contacts to make a good product.

Sierra packaging looked good saying on their website they do full turnkey game production but if you cannot get an email back then.
Looks like you have as much liuck as me with email replies.

Hi K10

Delano, are manufacturing for us at present.

I live in the UK and travelled to see a number of game manufactures and Delano are very proffesional this is the game they are making: www.Mission316.com

You will find that Delano are probably the most expensive, but it depends on what you want.

One of the deciding factors for us was delivery to the USA is an extra six weeks from Asia, and we would have missed the Christmas market.

Grand Prix keep sending me emails by mistake, they are communicating with another John in Asia somewhere, and they have left a crucial card out of the manufactured game, and are debating whose fault it is.

You obviously wouldn't want that scenario.

All the best, tell us more about ur game.

John.

When I spoke to Delano a couple of weeks ago I was told they didn't do any of the design/artwork. They do have some people they will refer you to though. Hope that helps.

Man, they make custom parts and print the games but dont do artwork.

Complete turnkey game production.

Somethings missing there Bob.

I emailed Carta Mundi Singapore and someone emailed back and said contact this person they gace me an email and said to explain everything about my project in the email
so I emailed the person asking them if they can give more details about Carta Mundi complete game services not giving anything away about mmy game. Asked them about production and if they can send any pics of games they did.

NO REPLY

If you're looking for a qualified artist

If you're looking for a qualified artist, talk to David Hile over at http://www.hiledesign.com. We had great results working with David Hile. He and his team are both talented and helpful.
