I've decided to use 15mm wooden discs for my game pieces, but I need to place small stickers on them to identify them. Is there any way to make those stickers without some sort of expensive die cutting device? I'm expecting to do very small print-runs, self-published, so even a $500 device is out of my price range. I need to cut about 150 of these stickers per copy of the game, so scissors or a hobby knife won't really cut it (no pun intended).
Is there any semi manual tool I available for hopefully no more than $100? Or does anyone know where I can buy precut 15mm or 1/2" circular stickers that I can print ont directly? The closest thing I can find is 25mm stickers at spielmaterial.de, but that's far too large, and switching to larger discs to accomodate is not an option.
Thanks!
jstahl, I'm not sure I understand. Aren't the die cutting machines needed to use those punches hundreds of dollars? Are you just using the punch by manually placing it and hitting it with a hammer or something?
Edit: Nevermind, I get it. They're little hand-held punches. I'm having trouble finding anything smaller than 5/8", though. Also, I was at staples the other day and they didn't have any printable round stickers, just full sticker sheets. Do either of you have any links to the products you mention?
Thanks very much for all your help!
