Quarter-fold board

Hi,

For my game i need to make a board. Initially i wanted to create a half-fold board (roughly the size of a monopoly board), but then realised that i had no means of printing to a size larger than A3.

Would i be correct in saying that by creating a quarter-fold board it would allow me to only require printing to a size of A3 or lower??

Secondly; how do you make a quarter-fold board??

larger board?

Isn't the largest board Protoparts sells a 20"x20" surface? That's really quite great, and cheap enough to make it worth buying, but do any of you know of a place where we could buy a similar style of premanufactured board that would be quite larger, more on the scale of a Ticket to Ride board?

When I wanted a really big board for Space Pirates Tycoon I bought two boards from protoparts and just sat them next to each other. It worked pretty good and in the end it all folds up and goes back into the box nicely.

Quarter-fold board

Actually a wonderful idea, and perhaps so simple I didn't think of it at all! That's probably what I'll end up doing--it'd really be the perfect size. Thanks for the great suggestion!
