Is there a place where I can find a list of printing companies that are setup for printing board games? I addition to this I would be looking for compnaies that would be producing a high quality product
Where can I find Printing Companies?
The three that we've worked with are Delano Services, Printing Productions, and Sierra Packaging. I am quite happy to recommend all three.
This sounds like a cop-out, but it's really up to you. Of the three, I think Delano has the most experience.
However, your best bet is to mention the type of gameboard you're looking for. Heavier boards will cost more. High gloss costs more. Custom cuts cost more, and so on.
My experience when working with printers is to be as involved as possible. If you want "Carcasonne" tiles, tell them that, and ask for prototype pieces before they start printing. That way you can see exactly what you're getting.
The quality of the produced piece will be a reflection of both your input and the printer's skills/capabilities.
For example, one of my games (Ice Lake) has taken some criticism because the gameboard folds in the middle, leaving a small valley in the middle of the gameboard. If I had told Printing Productions to have the board fold the other way, the valley wouldn't have been so pronounced. Or if I'd thought of having the board be two separate pieces, there wouldn't have been any fold at all (just a crack where the pieces met).
Also be sure to check the web resources link in the community menu to the left. There are oodles of companies listed there.

thank you for the reply. what sort of quality level would you say they produce? I would be looking for Carcassonne quality printing, with the same kind of components as Carcassone (tiles)
