The Global Game Jam is where game developers, artists, and programmers get together to make a shit ton of games around a specific theme. This year's theme is "We do not see things as they are but as we are"
My group has an Artist, a Programmer, and a Designer (me)
we agreed to me a card game but realised the game we were making already exists (it's called Once Upon A Time).
Now I'm looking for help and I only have 16 hours left to make a complete game. Can you guys help me with any ideas?
A game where players repeat a secret business with their unique deck of cards. In the beginning players get stuff to start with (things to be sold). Players see only the income of others. Bluffing is allowed, but every individual buy case is possible to be tracked afterwards.
The first player whistling stop gets immunity when all players businesses are inspected. Revealed bluff is penalized. Minor bluff is penalized only minimally.
Players may purchase (only honestly) new stuff and new business round starts. Business round, inspection and purchase of new stuff is repeated until all decks run out.
