Had my first few play tests today for Pillars of Civilization. It felt great getting the game together and making it look half decent. It didn't take too long and now Tabletop Simulator is my go-to for quick play tests. Many problems were found but its good to have a humble heart :) Some fixes are minor but there are few that hurt the game. Currently the length of the game and some big issues with the conquering system. But other than that the game was incredibly fun! Moving the units around, saving up for a big combo, building a castle and feeling like a boss, discovering fire to advance quicker; so much flavor folks! There is a lot of meat in this game and I'm just getting started!

It's a terrific program! I've been able to playtest at a much higher frequency, all it required was for me to purchase the thing for a few buddies :)

Setting Aside Time For It

I need to step up like you all have. Tabletop Simulator is installed and ready to go, but I've not even started it up yet even once! It's almost like I feel strangely intimidated by it as a useful tool... I need to work on that. :)

The hardest thing for me was figuring out the deck graphics. I too was intimidated but only took me the better part of two days to learn, put together, troubleshoot, and play test.
