Thanks to QuestCCG, I have been inspired to go on the hunt for some assistance. What better place to enlist supporters for a design contest than the great design family of BGDF!!
I have submitted my game Island Apocalypse to the Board Game Geek Mint Tin Design Contest 2017. Essentially, you have to make a game that will fit in a mint tin container; the whole game. Though challenging, my game fits physically well. Although, I plan to expand it after (possibly even during?) the contest. I am super excite because this is my first time submitting one of my designs in ANY sort of contest. I have been on here a good bit and many of you have been very helpful in providing feedback and critique...
...Then, your help was wanted... Now, your help is needed!!
Here is how you can assist and partner with me (if I get enough support, I may list each of you on the rules as a contributor to the design's success :D):
-Thumbs-up or provide feedback on my Work in Progress [WIP] page
-Thumbs-up my submission post
-Read the rules and provide feedback (preferably on BGG but any feedback is very much appreciated)
-Play Test the game
-Eventually vote for my game in the contest!! (I will make another post when that time comes)
The submission deadline is November 21st and voting starts after that. After December 5th the results should be in.
Currently adjusting to a new work schedule (full-time) and it is quite taxing on time especially since I am taking 6 credits for school. So my efforts on design have been limited this week. Hopefully I will get into the swing of things soon!
Thank you for the committed support.
