Fueled by my own personal interest in old-skool game-books and choose-your-own-adventure games, I did a little bit of research on roll n' write games. Here's a link to the 2018 GenCan't game jam roll n' write submissions:

I admire roll n' write game design because in general it's accessible, it's quick to get into (and finish), many have solo variants and/or are designed for solo play, and there's still boundless creativity to be discovered within the strict material confines of the genre. After a quick skim through these contest submissions, I found plenty of inspiration for my own works, as well as plenty of opportunities for fun on a rainy day. :)
Additionally, Gabe Barrett had a recent podcast regarding roll n' write design, and you can listen to it here:

For those of you interested in supporting several designers in a single collaboration of roll n' writes, you may be interested in the Kickstarter campaign for Dice & Ink, Volume 1. It's a collection of 10 roll n' write games.
