Hi,
I'm hosting a little design contest over at BGG to have people design some card games for two players that are playable with standard decks of cards (or playing tarot cards). I thought perhaps some of the folks over here might be interested in participating; mostly for the design challenge but perhaps also for the Geekgold (the prize pool is currently at 84.71GG). Your devilish contest has me working on something. I haven't openly designed anything before this, but I've decided to take this challenge and see if I can make the magic work. It's the "proof in the pudding" thing....or the "walk the talk"....if I win...which I doubt, I've be using the GG to use for a challenge my son and I are working on for a contest.
Your challenge has taken an idea I was thinking about and made me change it....which has actually improved upon the idea I had and made it better. That's a bonus. :)
I've added this to the front page "news" feed here at BGDF.
I was going to run the July GDS and had planned on doing something with standard cards ... but I plan to point folks toward your BGG contest instead.
