Tom Vasel no longer doing Paid Previews

I heard from the vineyard (Jason) that Tom Vasel is no longer doing Paid Previews for Kickstarters...

That's right from what I have heard The Dice Tower is no longer offering this service to game designers.

In one way I am a little sadden that this would not be available to future Kickstarters - because it is Tom Vasel demonstrating how the game is played. On the other hand there are several other reviewers out there...

Another strange event is http://www.gotgametesters.com a website dedicated to producing Videos of games is DOWN! Jarek Smith who was the guy who was running the website seems to have disappeared (their website - not the guy)!

There are other folk at the Dice Tower that still do the paid reviews. I imagine Tom has a lot on his plate.

But thanks for providing this info. Finger on the pulse :)

BTW - is there a list of prominent reviewers some where? I'll have 6 new games here in a week or so and I'd like to get them in front of some eyes for review....

Another Name

One of the reviewers not listed is Radho from "Radho Runs Through" ~ he's, I believe, an ex-pat who lives with his wife Jen in Malta. He's well-regarded in the community, so I was surprised to not see it on Mathe's comprehensive list.

Actually you are INCORRECT... The Dice Tower is NOT DOING ANY PAID PREVIEWS ANY MORE: http://www.dicetower.com/more/kspreviews.html

It's a question of philosophy that clashes with The Dice Tower's philosophy. They want to do reviews of the best games out there... Not every single game that has a Kickstarter...
