I like to test out what I can do in photoshop and came up with this image / card today. It only took a hour so it needs some refinement.
I kinda like it and think it needs a game to go with it?
I've also been trying out a basic (D&D style) dice levelling up system for diff weapons, or matching diff dice to diff weapons for varying power....so working that out but something like close range combat would be a D4 roll, detonation devices a D20 etc.
The horse is before the cart doing it this way (early art) but it sometimes sparks inspiration for theme and gameplay :)

Where did you get the
Where did you get the character figure from? If you drew it yourself and finished the whole thing in an hour, that is rather spectacularly fast.
Anyway, nice work. Wish I could generate card art that professionally.
Stock images
The character is a stock actor image. Plenty of these types of poses on a stock image search. For mock ups such as these, I simply use the image, but should I decide to use in a final game, purchasing the image is still a cheaper option than hiring an artist.
Use of filters and levels in Photoshop can give it an art texture feel too.
Interesting... I will have to
Interesting... I will have to think about some stock images to flesh out my own prototype.
I have wondered whether a photo of a friend, in costume, could be cartoonified with the right software to give a quick-and-dirty stand-in for real art.
The text in the background
The text in the background logo makes it a little harder to take the paramilitary guy seriously ;)
What does he do? Fight on the warm front? Is he a storm trooper?
Your puns are terrible
and you should be ashamed.
Goodness!
All the puns of a real weather presenter!
Again, mock ups start with a rough layout. In this case, the idea (composition) is hero front centre, logo (whatever that will be) behind, stat tracks either side for sliders to be used on the card.
Text lower part etc. Maybe room for a barometer too :)

Yes, it can work. Topaz Labs is an excellent plug in for PSD too
All of this work done with PSD
