He knows he's not welcome, he's banned. Now
we do nothing more. If we get a strong indicator that a new member is Brahm, we zap him immediately without discussion. But if he returns and becomes a member in good standing, we don't worry about it too much, as we'll never know the difference.
I agree with this. Well, we'll have to make sure it's really him. We can do it. Eventually, he will tire out or get bored. But if we fuel him with drama everytime, I can guarantee it will take a long time.
Another solution is to start charging for account (this is not good)
Another funny solution (taken from another forum) would be to make all his posts invisible to everyone except himself.
I love that last thought, hpox. :)
On not being able to stop him: c'mon, he can't have an unlimited number of IPs. I stopped his home cable connection (or wherever he posts from). Then he posted from one of "his" virtual IPs. Blocked the whole octet, and guess what, he hasn't been able to do anything since. From the moment I blocked it, he's not posted or anything.
It takes 30 seconds for me to block an IP or octet.
Here's my concern: he'll start badmouthing the BGDF in other places. Yes, he'll come off like an idiot to most people, but the hasslw factor is definitely there. That's the only part I'm actually concerned with.
He will get bored of the "game," as long as we don't play, that I agree with.
All in all, it sucks. I wish I'd handled it better, but I also wish he wasn't such an ass.
