All,

I have removed a bunch of themes from the site. So if you have any issues with your theme settings let me know.

I removed the themes to reduce the workload of maintaining so many themes. And instead I added two new custom (BGDF a BGDF2) themes. That make the site look more like the current site.

Let me know what you think.

I like the BGDF themes. Nice job.

I found it very interesting that the MyTiki settings could be under either Menu or spread out in tabs, depending on your theme. I think they're less intrusive under menu, myself.

Which theme is default -- that is, the one non-logged-in users see? It's not bgdf. This is probably the most important decision to make about themes, because most people won't change this setting. Also, I think I'd like to switch back to it. :)

So far, only the neat.css theme seems to affect quotes in the forums. I think the default theme should shade or box or otherwise mark quoted sections.

The default theme when not logged in is bgdf2. I will work on the quote shading change.

I will have a bit more of a play with the themes, but to start with, the Geo theme makes the top right links waaaaay to big...

Also, in the 'Simple' Theme it would be nicer to have the search, date and myTikiHome up in the top right corner instead of under the logo as it pushes everything too far down.

So far I would also say bgdf2 is the most appealing...

quote shading should not work for the custom bgdf themes.

Congrats with the BGDF-style themes! I think I like the BGDF-theme best (it's the 'sunny' one with the yellow colums left and right...)

I just wondered what you're planning with the home-page. While it's a good page for someone new to arrive on, I think that regular users would benefit more from other info on the front-page.

I have no idea what workload it takes, but a very nice feature would be that you can customize your front-page (a la BGG...)

I'm just suggesting this, as I realy don't know what it takes to acomplish such a thing, so nevermind about that if this idea is somewhat farfetched...

Cheese!

[EDIT]

I just niced that Yogurt has posted the exact same thing, I must have missed it somehow...

[/EDIT]

Is this because you don't want quote shading? I think it looks better myself - seperates the different sections of text easily...

I think he meant to say quote shading is now working, not 'not working'.
