Can Any1 recommend a good Dragon Dice variant?

I really like the game, battle is fine, all is cool
except the magic.
gets annoying to have to look back to the booklet each
time and say hmmmmm which one should I purchase....

You have just made me rememember that I still have a dice pack. I don't remember much of the rules. But one thing for sure, playing the variant with a few number of dices per player could be cool ... since It would allow me to play with more than 1 player or with my only 18 dices.

Now I tought of something on the fly. Maybe you dice pool is some kind of troop of henchmen than you can use to complete missions or adventures.

Or you play your dices on a map of square with few squares ( from 4x4 to 8x8 ) you move and make your dice attack the other dice. I have a vision of Phantasy star online 3 here.

Or maybe you are not rolling the dices, you place the dices on the face you want according to the action you want your team to make. So if you need a spell that requires 3 point, you an use a series of dices to totalise these points.

I still don't have a clue for the territory dices and the D12 dragon/serpent dice.

I am just brainstorming, so nothing really solid as you can see.

Hey anything helps, especially since I have a lot, I hate it to
just keep it in my closet.
I use to just play with monster dice and that was fun.
Then I played normal but with no magic and that was really fun too.
