Hi All. I need an artist to do drawings for a game of mine which is getting close to the production stage. The game has a comic strip theme. I'll need about 155 unique full-color drawings, which take up the entire space of a standard sized playing card. Most of the cards will have an animal as the main figure. I'm looking for a style similar to The Far Side. The characters all need to have very distinct and humorous expressions. I appreciate any leads.

Need artist for comic-strip-themed game
Scott Starkey, designer of Mother Load of Sticky Gulch -- http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/7047 -- sounds like exactly what you need. He illustrated that game as well as one for Out of the Box, as I recall. He can be reached here: http://yekrats.com/email.html
His username here on the BGDF is Yekrats, but though he was a regular for a long time, it's been a while since I've seen him. I'd say the email is a better way to go.

Here's three artists, including myself...
Thanks, Matthew. I've actually already exchanged e-mails with Scott (I found him on another site), and I'm anxiously looking forward to speaking with him more about my project. In fact, tonight I played Monkeys on the Moon for the first time, which he illustrated. I'm just trying to get as many options for artwork as I can. This will be my first published game, and it's looking like it will be an expensive project, so I'm quite apprehensive at the moment about finding the right person who can do suitable artwork for the game. In fact, for my particular game, the artwork will probably be 80% of the reason why people buy the game.
