Hi all,

Firstly, thanks for many helpful advice in this forum.

I am amateur board game maker. I am making a educational game for my final thesis. The game components are board, ready lego from market and some paper cards. It's for assembly teaching purpose. Game have 4 sections (1-2 players per section).

Now I almost finished the board design, main rules and will buy some lego and play with it. I want to test the game to create rules to make the game more interesting. (I thought about simulation but it's too complicated for me)

But problem is I don't have much time before the deadline and volunteers to play the game and analyse the result.
Please kindly advise me if there are any method that I can play the game and test with computer? The I can test it by myself and know where and when I should have more rule.

Thanks you for your help,
Diem

Tabloro.com

I always suggest this one (I might have even started to annoy people... whoops). Its good for quick playtesting with yourself, playing with others is still a little wonky but it has become a part of my design process before I make actual printed copies.

Yes, I mean the method to pre-playtesting before inviting friend to play it for serious testing and getting feedback.

Thank you,

I have used VASSAL

I have used VASSAL (www.vassalengine.org/) and it works great for quickly setting up some components and playtest solitaire or with others online.
