Hey all. I'm looking for playtesters for a resistance/werewolf style game about witches.
"Witch Hunt" occurs in a small town which has become terrorized by witches. An inquisitor has been tasked with rooting out the witches among the scared citizens. The problem is everyone is accusing enemies, alibiing friends, and no one really knows the truth but the witches.
The game play is simple. Citizens take turns accusing one person and trusting another. Once one citizen gains enough accusations, they are burned at the stake! Sometimes poor, regular citizens are killed but such is life during a witch hunt. The town wins as long as the witches are killed. The witches win when either the inquisitor is killed or all the citizens are dead.
Full rules to anyone who's curious to play test and give feedback. Parts are only 10 cards and a bunch of two different color bits (use whatever you have on hand).
Send me a message or respond on here if you have a playgroup of 5-10 (preferably 6-8), enjoy resistance/werewolf, and can give constructive feedback.
Anyone have any questions, just ask!!! I'd be happy to answer.
Yea I checked that and its not quite the same. No "nights" or votes. Its a much more interactive where every person gets to directly affect the game. Biggest flaw in resistance is if people think you're a spy from the start you'll never go on a mission and you'll never really play. In werewolf, if you aren't believed off the bat by the majority you're killed quickly. In my game you have time to affect the game and have others "vouch" for you to remove suspicion or to cast suspicion on both of you. Everyone will get to accuse and trust. Unless the game is big (8-10) and EVERYONE before you doesn't trust you, you'll get a turn. Highly unlikely
