2021 Cocktail Card Design Contest

Cocktail Inc. is holding a card design contest with a top prize of $500. The contest is free to enter. Submissions are open May 1 - July 1. Board Game Workshop Design Contest 2021

The Board Game Workshop has just announced their 2021 contest. This year, they are stratifying their competition between three categories of Light, Medium, and Heavy (designers themselves choose the categories for their submissions). There's also an online speed-pitching segment as part of the third round.

A sub-2-minute video is due for each submission, as well as at least one image, sell sheet, and short description. Multiple entries from one designer are permitted. Registration costs $10 (I assume this cost is per submission, even for the same designer).

So I was considering entering some of the contests that TGC has. But when I looked at the rules I wasn't sure about this one thing.

Do you have to make a complete game using TGC (what I'm getting at is do you have to pay money to get into the contest).

WODC (World Original Design Contest of Board Game) is a worldwide original board game design contest sponsored by Yoka Games, a publisher and distributor of board games from China. All participants will design their board games around the theme “China”. Through 3 stages, there will be 9 prizes for designers to compete and the champion will be awarded with $3,000! Moreover, not only for the winning designs, every design has a chance to be assisted in publication and promotion support.

November 21st is less than a month a way. Voting will last until December 5th and I need your help to chugga chugga this hype train!

I would love if you could contribute by checking out the rules for Island Apocalypse. Even a simple "wow, I like that" or "dude, that is totally stupid, stop" would go a long way!
